Cylindrical glass beads, black diamond

Glass beads are arranged in 'Chevron' pattern that transitions fromblack to deep blue, iridescent blue, and bronze. A subtle scattering of black diamonds soothingly flows throughout the piece.

In her latest summer series, Claire Kahn recallsthebeautiful array of birds that prevail around her home amongst thepicturesque pastureland of Jacona, NM in the Pojoaque Valley. Imagining the mystery and elegance of the Raven, she scripts its color in a pattern of color and progression, amalgamating her memories into an exquisite, one-of-a-kind work of adornment.
