As one of the most legendary Air Jordan silhouettes of all time, any new colourway of the AJ3 sparks the interest of sneakerheads, but now one of the OG variants is making a return. The Air Jordan 3 OG “Fire Red” initially launched back in 1988 and was one of Tinker Hatfield’s original designs back when he first conceptualisedthe sneaker. Rumour has it that theAJ3was so good it even made Michael Jordan stay with Jordan Brand after threats of leaving for adidas.

Crafted from premium tumbled leather, the uppers of the kicks are decked out mainly in white, although red accents create a striking and recognisable look here. Other details include Jordan Brand’s signature elephant print pattern as well as Jumpman logos embroidered onto the tongues. While not yet confirmed, it’s also likely that this retro release will come complete with the Nike Air logos on the heel tabs, a feature that’s highly-coveted amongst fans of the label.
